On a side note- Just looking at my facebook feed I see people lifting up prayers and well wishes to friends in need, people being thankful for what they have, then I see a random post about how someone has such a crappy life. Maybe those crappy-life-people should try to see the good in things and make better choices. It is okay to have a bad day but I'm sure you have not seen the half of it. The other people I know- the people that are truly struggling- sure do sound a lot happier than you. Check yourself before you wreck yourself PEOPLE! And I'm off my soapbox :D

It amazes me how the holidays bring out the best and worst in people. I guess it may be that you see everyone's truest colors. Traffic is bad and someone will cut you off but then someone else will let you into traffic. Folks will hold the door open when they see you coming with your hands full while others will steal your parking spot- even when you have your blinker on! Also it is a time when people are willing to share their ideas and time only to have someone take advantage of their generosity.
The lesson I'm learning this holiday is to keep it simple. Remember what really matters and keep that in perspective. Don't let those "ya yaers" get to you. And no matter what its okay to keep good ideas to yourself and not share them- at least until you have given out all your crafty Christmas gifts so sneaky folks can't give the same gift before you have a chance to give yours and steal your thunder even though your the one who thought of it and helped them make their gifts too.
And I'm off my soapbox :D
